About
This community of practice (CoP) supports the implementation of Article 7 of the Energy Efficiency Directive (EU) 2023/1791 by enabling structured peer exchange among Member States, national authorities and public buyers. The community provides a collaborative space to share practical experiences, co-develop solutions to technical and policy challenges, and strengthen institutional capacity on energy-efficient public procurement.
Focus of the community
By connecting policy implementers, procurement officers and technical experts, the CoP contributes to improved alignment with EU frameworks such as eForms and the Public Procurement Data Space, while supporting national efforts to meet energy savings obligations through public procurement.
