The Innovation Procurement Hubs programme is continuing active delivery across Europe, with another advisory support package now completed in collaboration with Fjársýslan, Iceland’s Financial Management Authority.

The engagement helped Fjársýslan strengthen its approach to early co-creation and pre-tender activities in innovation procurement. The support focused on need assessment, market engagement, and pre-procurement specification definition, providing practical use case examples and ready-to-use templates to help structure these activities more clearly, consistently, and effectively before procurement begins. 

The support also included leadership mindset development for Fjársýslan and public buyers, helping build a shared understanding of how innovation procurement can be used more strategically across the public sector. 

This marks another step in supporting public authorities across Europe with practical tools, targeted advisory support, and peer learning opportunities to make innovation procurement more accessible and actionable.
