In this upcoming edition, “The Local Perspective of PPI: Amsterdam and Haarlem” experts from Haarlem and Amsterdam in the Netherlands will share their transformative experiences with PPI projects.

Speakers:

  • Valentina Schippers-Opejko Coordinator of the Urban Agenda Partnership on Innovative and Responsible Public Procurement, Chair of the Eurocities Working Group on Public Procurement and expert on public procurement, will highlight how public procurement is an strategic tool for empowering public authorities to drive innovation at local leve from the experience in the city of Haarlem.
  • Tim Tim van de Laar project Manager at the City of Amsterdam will reflect on how Amsterdam addresses one of its major challenges through Innovation Partnerships, fostering cutting-edge innovation in collaboration with market parties.

The workshop is open, but there are some minimum eligibility requirements: 

  • Candidates must be over 18 years of age.
  • Candidates should be residents of a European Economic Area (EEA) country.
  • Candidates must be elected representatives or decision-makers of a public Contracting Authority.
