The Irish Office of Government Procurement has announced a large market consultation focused on the procurement of AI solutions across the public sector.

The consultation seeks engagement from suppliers, technology providers, and other market participants to help inform the State’s future approach to AI procurement. The initiative reflects the growing role of AI technologies in public service delivery and the need for clear, robust, and forward-looking procurement frameworks.

As part of the broader consultation, the Office of Government Procurement is also inviting suppliers to provide feedback on proposed AI-specific contractual clauses.
