To help public buyers procure AI responsibly, the community of practice has released an updated version of the EU model contractual clauses. These clauses support compliance with the EU AI Act – the world’s first broad regulation on AI, adopted on 13 June 2024.

The updated package includes:

• a full version for high-risk AI systems, aligned with the EU AI Act
• a light, customisable version for non-high-risk AI
• a commentary with guidance on how to use and adapt the clauses in practice
