Exciting developments are unfolding in the world of public procurement! Since its launch in January, the Public Procurement Network has been going from strength to strength, attracting the vibrant participation of representatives from around 20 countries. The atmosphere has been nothing short of inspiring, with members demonstrating genuine enthusiasm as they tackle daily challenges and collaborate to devise innovative, practical solutions.
A remarkable achievement so far has been the collection and sharing of approximately 290 supporting instruments from 11 countries. This invaluable resource pool includes manuals, guidelines, templates, and much more, all accessible via public links, making knowledge and best practices available to everyone.
Efforts are currently underway to map out who’s who across public procurement systems in each member country, fostering clarity and stronger connections. Looking ahead, the final meeting of the year is scheduled for 11 December, promising another opportunity for dynamic exchange and shared progress. With many challenges on the horizon, the drive towards professionalisation is set to take centre stage, ensuring the network continues to thrive in its mission to shape the future of public procurement.
