
Driving Innovation from the demand side: Lean PPI
Procure Innovation EU is launching 2025 with an online workshop designed for Decision-Makers from Contracting Authorities across the European Economic Area (EEA). The session will provide key strategies and insights to enhance innovation procurement practices, ensuring long-term impact and value.

The workshop will feature leading experts in innovation procurement:
- Jorge González, Director of Ticbiomed, an association focused on driving the adoption of innovation in public procurement. He leads the Impactful Innovation Movement, addressing challenges in deploying innovation and proposing practical solutions. He is also a business coach and European Commission proposal evaluator.
- Marcin Kautsch, M.Sc., Ph.D., lecturer and researcher in healthcare and public health, coordinator of innovative procurement projects, and consultant for healthcare units and local authorities. He is also an evaluator of European Commission projects.
The session will cover:
- Key aspects of successful innovation procurement, including strategies for integrating innovation into procurement processes.
- Expert insights on best practices to navigate challenges and maximize results.
- A real-world case study providing lessons from an organization that has successfully implemented innovation procurement.
- Funding opportunities and capacity-building initiatives to support the adoption of innovative procurement practices.
