Analysis of the adoption of Building Information Modelling (BIM) across the EU

Description

The report examines BIM adoption across EU countries, covering national strategies, procurement practices, standards, and education. It highlights advanced countries like Denmark, where BIM has been mandatory since 2007, and Austria, which is still in the early stages.

It also discusses the role of public-private collaboration, as seen in Germany and Ireland, and the development of national templates like Finland's COBIM and Estonia's ÜBN. While countries such as Italy and Lithuania have mandated BIM for public projects, others like Greece and Hungary are still beginning their adoption.
