At its General Assembly on 15 December 2020, the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) asked the EU BIM Task Group to propose recommendations on the adoption of BIM in public procurement following the announcements made in the framework of the European Renovation Wave Strategy. After several months of collective work within the Steering Committee, this note was adopted by the General Assembly on 3 December 2021. To this end, the EU BIM Task Group proposes to increase DEMAND and to increase SUPPLY.
