On March 16 and 17, the Network of Procurement Review Bodies of South-East Europe in collaboration with the National Anti-Corruption Agency in Italy and the Open Contracting Partnership, held in Rome, in Palazzo Sciarra, the headquarters of the National Anti-Corruption Authority, the hybrid workshop on "Transparency and prevention of corruption in procurement public: the best methods and practices", in which some of the member countries of the Network, namely Kosovo, North Macedonia and Romania, participated on sight.

Some Member countries, Croatia and Montenegro participated online.

Mr. Jonaid Myzyi, chairman of the Network (in first year the Network is chaired by the Member from Albania), expressed that he felt honored and at the same time excited for the readiness of the Members of the Network of Procurement Review Bodies of South-East Europe, to cooperate with ANAC in terms of capacity building, sharing best practices to reduce the risk of corruption in procurement.

The program of exchange of experiences at the inter-institutional level in Rome on the first day of its development, had as its focus the best practices for the prevention of corruption in the field of procurement, with special reference to the periods of emergency cases and reconstruction, bearing in mind that some of the PRB Network Participants have recently had to face or are facing events similar to the Italian post-earthquake reconstruction, to move on to how a plan for transparency and prevention can be drawn up.

While on the second day, the focus was on the role of transparency and the publication of open data for the involvement of civil society in the joint fight against corruption.

In addition to the workshop, the President of ANAC Mr. Busia, signed three important cooperation agreements with the Open Contracting Partnership, the Procurement Review Body of Kosovo and the National Council for the Resolution of Procurement Complaints of Romania (Members of the Network).
