Webinar "A bite of social procurement – Accessibility"

Description

The purpose of the webinar is to present the topic of accessibility, a crucial social objective that plays a pivotal role in generating social impact via the procurement process. The Commission published Guidance on Socially Responsible Procurement that provides concrete indications on how to achieve social impact, including ensuring that public purchases are accessible for all users. The rules on procurement at the EU level require public buyers to use accessibility criteria when drawing up technical specifications. Accessible and universal design is not only important for the welfare and equal opportunities of persons with disabilities, but also relevant and important for all of us.
