The objective of the CO₂ Performance Ladder Europe CoP is to fully support and inspire members to start working with the CO₂ Performance Ladder in their public procurement strategies to achieve ambitious decarbonisation and to enhance collaboration with suppliers and their relevant stakeholders. The Ladder is an easy-to-implement, practical, tested and internationally recognised Green Public Procurement instrument that drives long-term carbon reduction through the power of procurement. The Ladder incentivises suppliers to set ambitious reduction targets within the organisation, on project and supply chain level.

• The participation process involves public buyers from France, Germany, Portugal, Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. In each country there is a local partner to support members.
• The CoP focus is capacity building, peer-to-peer exchange, learning, and personal support to adopt the CO₂ Performance Ladder to achieve ambitious decarbonisation objectives, making a collective impact within members sector/industries.
