With digitalisation reshaping the landscape of the construction industry, Building Information Modelling (BIM) is emerging as a valuable tool and collaboration method in the design, construction, maintenance, and management of built assets.
Recognising the significance of integrating BIM in procurement processes for infrastructure projects, the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs (DG GROW) of the European Commission is hosting a webinar titled ‘Introduction to Building Information Modelling (BIM) in Procurement Procedures’.
Taking place online on 21 May 2024, from 10:30 to 11:50 CEST, this introductory session will present the concept of BIM within the context of public procurement and explore potential joint activities under the framework of the dedicated Community of Practice.
