The challenges facing ICT procurement are increasingly shared. Through the Circular & Fair ICT (CFIT) Pact, international public en expert organisations work together to develop practical CFIT recommendations, align approaches and strengthen the transition towards circular and fair ICT.

Electronics Watch and the Circular and Fair ICT Pact hosted a series of dialogues between public buyers and their tech resellers on supply chain due diligence. The dialogue recognises a need for improved coordination between resellers and public buyers to achieve effective supply chain due diligence

The majority of environmental impacts of many ICT products occur before the use phase; during the extraction of raw materials and production of hardware.
