Ireland's new framework for sustainable remanufactured laptops

Ireland's new framework for sustainable remanufactured laptops

The Office of Government Procurement (OGP) in Ireland has launched a new national framework contract for remanufactured Windows notebook computers, aiming to support the Irish Government's sustainability goals. With a focus on cost savings and environmental impact, this framework promotes remanufactured devices as an affordable, eco-friendly alternative to new products. The contract, valued at up to €30 million, is expected to provide 60,000 devices over its four-year term, reducing CO2 emissions, preserving resources, and saving water.
