The session outlined the key challenges in Innovation Procurement we aim to address, provided an overview of the support framework available to public authorities from January 2026 onwards, and outlined the system for beneficiaries to request such support.

On 9 September, the European Parliament adopted an own-initiative report on public procurement with 432 votes in favour.
